The Oregon School District seeks an Executive Director of Business Services. The ideal start date is July 1, 2026, but we can be flexible for the right candidate.
The Executive Director of Business Services serves as the district’s chief financial and operations leader, providing strategic oversight to ensure schools have the resources, facilities, and services needed for student success. This role partners closely with the Superintendent, General Counsel / Executive Director of Human Resources, the Board of Education and the administrative team to ensure the fiscal sustainability and successful operational management of the District in service of student achievement.
Key responsibilities include leading all business and operational functions—budgeting and financial planning, purchasing, risk management, facilities, transportation, school nutrition, and community education. The position supervises multiple department directors and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining fiscal sustainability.
The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in business or educational administration or a related field, strong experience in school finance and budget management (preferably in a Wisconsin public school), knowledge of Wisconsin school funding laws and regulations, and demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, interpersonal and collaboration skills. The candidate must hold a valid WI DPI Business Manager license or the ability to obtain one effective July 1, 2026.

This position works under a 260-day Administrator contract and is year round. Must be available on evenings and occasional weekends for Board meetings and school events.
First round interviews are tentatively scheduled for May 21 and second round interviews are tentatively scheduled for May 28.
