To provide leadership and supervision of district services for grant development and compliance while providing support for seeking, securing, and stewarding entitlement and competitive grant funding to assist school and district leaders with achieving district goals.


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of educational leadership administration, management, and/or supervisory experience preferably with grant development and compliance and research initiatives preferred.
  • Five (5) years of experience working with the management of local, state, and/or federal grant development and compliance.
  • Experience in the management of large and complex projects and working with others in a collaborative manner to establish goals and objectives, develop action plans, conduct data analysis, meet critical deadlines, and share results

Demonstrated experience and ability to lead local, state and/or federal grant initiatives. Demonstrated knowledge of grant development and financial compliance procedures, regulations and current educational trends. Demonstrated ability in planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring tasks, projects, and processes related to all areas of responsibility in compliance with local, state and/or federal requirements. Demonstrated knowledge of finance, budget development and implementation of local, state and/or federal grant guidelines and compliance regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to use a tracking database that follows the lifecycle of a grant. Demonstrated knowledge of processes and sources of grant funding opportunities. Demonstrated knowledge about collaboration with community agencies and organizations in working toward agreed upon outcomes. Demonstrated skill and experience in writing and presenting information in a variety of formats to administrators, teachers, support staff, parents, business partners, and members of the community. Demonstrated ability to independently plan, execute, and monitor completion of tasks and projects according to established timelines. Demonstrated ability to work, communicate, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to focus resources (both human and financial) toward the achievement of expected results. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in priorities and work assignments. Demonstrated ability to facilitate group processes, engage in conflict resolution, planning, and decision-making to build consensus and develop goals.
